New finds!

Today I decided to do nothing, but this turned into an afternoon of pottering round the shops of Redchurch st E2.
During this pottering I found 2 great finds:
1. Bedouin, this amazing men's accessory brand. I am kind of jealous of their workmanship and materials, I aim to have some products of a similar level. http://bedouinfoundry.com/collections/

I also love this initial photo shoot, it's playful but has a great balance and doesn't overshadow the quality of the product.
2.This great vintage clothing, but mainly sunglasses store on Redchurch street, the guy told me his blog was http://zone7style.blogspot.com/, but it doesn't work on my computer, what I would say is go forth and check it out. He has amazing pieces, focusing on Ralph Lauren polo sport, Moschino, and some great Versace! I wish I had the money as I would have bought everything : )

This guy is Genius is all I can say, for further info:Information, Prices and Services....... Email: seth.bradley@gmail.com ... ... Showroom: 63 Redchurch St, London, E2 7DJ

Another shop you should check out is the Darkroom, pure accessories heaven!

Marc Jacobs is amazing. Katie Grand is amazing!!

Something amazing from >>>>FLAT20A: Missing Anish

FLAT20A: Missing Anish: "I have been to many exhibit and shows but nothing and no artists has ever moved me yet. It is very personal. Anish Kapoor was able to knock ..."

Marc Jacobs Inc. Pics- "Just getting to know ya......"

I love Marc Jacobs (the company, as I do not personally know the man), I like the way they run, or I suppose the way they project how they run, as know actual successful company runs smoothly, lets be frank. However, via their facebook site, they have started releasing photos from behind the scenes and archive. Previously I did love on their site their employees of the moment. I like this as (even if it were a marketing ploy, (theres the sceptic in me)) it gives staff something to aim for, makes them feel included, valued and more importantly part of team. As person with retail experience I feel I can say i understand the importance of these little things and so, this Thursday morning (from my sick bed, yes still sick, thought it was gone, it hasn't) I salute you Marc Jacobs!

These images are great, the company history, but this one above is it. Marc Jacobs inc. and it's two founders, they must be proud!

And these are it's employees, Ilya Pankevich - NYC Corporate Office, Danielle Niedzielski - Provincetown, MA MbMJ Store, James Dobbie - London, England MbMJ Store. I salute you too!

KIDS COMPANY X JOY EVERLEY X HARPERS BAZAAR

Very excited for this event, I think it will be typical London style, manic, lots of women, lots of bubbly, but alas it should be a great event.

I am going to help Joy Everley Fine Jewellers with their adorable charms designed by some of the children of Kids Company!
My favorite is the splat with the arms and legs as if a splat had no arms or legs how would it get around. So basically I like it because the child designer was a very sensible thinker.

Anyway I hope it goes well and if I get any pics, you shall be the first to see.

THE BEST ADVERT I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR A LUXURY COMPANY- THANK YOU HERMES!!

Video: Hermes Finger Skateboarder

Quote from Highsnobette.com "Hermes has created a site called Lesailes Hermes, featuring all sorts of cute videos highlighting its many leather products. For instance, one shows a row of reversible totes turning themselves inside out. In the video above, a finger-operated skateboard glides in, around, over and through Hermes’ product line. The best part? It identifies all the tricks made by the finger at the end of the video! Via Trendland."

"I can grab a bulls balls"!

Josie Grosie said it and now it can become reality.
Just saw this:
......And now I am in love and want to grab the bulls balls (excuse the bad pun)

Pure, Simple, Exhausted

Today I am no longer ill, just purely exhausted. And yet I find myself writing; like shopping, eating, and watching cheesy television, it has been added to must list of obsessions. So firstly I would like to thank anyone who reads this; and then continue to say I think I'm going to do it, maybe sooner rather than later....that is set up BLOOMFIELD LTD. Crazy yes, necessary, YES!

I know I say a lot of things, but this evening I felt that roar in my belly, a hunger for it, that is my own collection. It is no-longer a fantasy at the end of a long line of University lectures, it is now or never. Next step strategy.

Here maybe the bit where concerned on-lookers give solid, grounding words of advice. (Comments below)

Themes: Functionalism, Form, Honestly, Refinement.
Kenneth Grange is my new hero of design. Past heroes have been Thomas Heatherwick, Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, Wassily Kandinsky, and Frida Kahlo to name a few. But now it is Kenneth as he designs products for a purpose and to solve problems which I would like to do.

A lot to wrap into a concept range, but hey that's me, take me or leave me.

This is an image I love from my final year of uni. Enjoy!
