This one reminds me of United Colours of Benninton mixed with Pierre Mondrian, and then harks to that scene in Pretty In Pink, when she is talking to Duckie in her bedroom and she has 3 posters of Pierre Mondrian. Ah the enjoyment of spotting visual references.
